Whether you are suffering from an acute injury, rehabbing from a surgical procedure or have had chronic pain for years, therapeutic massage can help. Massage can decrease your pain and increase your range of motion using a wide variety of techniques and styles to release both muscle tension and fascial restrictions.
Depending on your issues or needs, I will use Deep Tissue, Trigger Point Therapy, Myofascial Release, PNF (Proprioceptor Neuromuscular Facilitation) or oppositional stretching techniques. I also have years of experience working with new mothers throughout their pregnancies, and offer relaxing Hot Stone Massage as well.
I have over thirteen years of experience and success relieving headaches, TMJ pain, neck pain, lower back pain, shoulder injuries, tendonitis, whiplash, nerve pain including Sciatica and Thoracic Outlet Syndrome and Plantar Fasciitis among many other conditions.
In addition to massage, I teach MELT Method classes. The MELT Method is a self-care treatment technique designed to decrease pain and inflammation and increase balance and stability by lengthening and hydrating your connective tissue(or fascia) and calming the nervous system. I offer individual sessions and group classes in the MELT Method. MELT uses a soft foam roller and small balls to work with your connective tissue. It is very gentle and easy to do.
